This system is responsible to help prevent flat tyres and reduce the risk of losing road grip. A tyre pressure monitoring system oversees the specified pressure in all four tires while the car is being driven and warns the driver in the event of pressure loss or puncture with symbols in the driver information system in the instrument cluster. Constantly measures the tyres internal pressure and temperature, thanks to a sensor inside each wheels valve. The system informs the driver of the location and tyre of problem by means of a pictogram, indication lights and text messages.
